Meet the Artist

Born and raised in Colorado, Sarah Dean developed a lifelong love for creating art at a young age. Influenced by the western landscapes and lifestyle of her home state, her work showcases the beauty of the horse, from working cowponies on cattle ranches to wild herds roaming free.

Through training under various professional artists, she honed her skills first in graphite pencil and then began to focus primarily on oil painting. Sarah is drawn to the freedom of being able to express emotion and atmosphere through the manipulation of deeply saturated colors, bold textures, and a romanticized vision of the American West.
